The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra inaugurates our second annual week-long Bach Festival with a spirited tribute to the boundless lyrical imagination of Johann Sebastian Bach. In an evening featuring a diverse variety of performances from local partners, surprise guests, and the splendor of live classical music, the Bradley Symphony Center opens its doors to the public for this free event, inviting our Milwaukee community to join us for our Opening Ceremony as we celebrate the life and music of the Baroque master.
Featured Performers: Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra Bach Ensemble, Milwaukee Children’s Choir, The Well-Tempered Harps, Milwaukee Chamber Choir, with Ryan Tani, Past MSO Bach Double Competition Winners, including Julia Castro (2025), Lydia Elwert (2024, 2025), Linnea Lee Gillmore (2020), Sage Rinehart (2022), Hayley Stevens (2023, 2025), Lydia Van Gelderen (2025), Christina Zheng (2024), Milo Burns (2024), Nero Eichinger (2022, 2023), Karina Mae Goyette (2025), Elliana Kang (2025), Alina Schultz (2025), Nishanth Suthan (2022), Hannah Lynn Van Gelderen (2020), John Zempel (2024), and Kenneth Zhang (2023, 2024).
